The healthy fashion for wooden floor finishes is not going away. It would seem that it is difficult to achieve the warm and cosy atmosphere of wooden planks using other materials. And yet! Manufacturers have managed to create an alternative that captures the natural effect, combining the beauty of wood with the durability of stoneware.

As natural as wood

Porcelain stoneware tiles perfectly imitate natural planks thanks to transferring the pattern from natural raw material to floor tiles. You can find a wide range of tiles that look like wood in almost every style. Where should stoneware be laid?

In principle, we are limited only by our imagination, because stoneware with wood texture will suit every room: kitchen, bathroom, even a bedroom or a child’s room. However, if we wish to permanently finish the floor in strategic places, such as the hallway or the kitchen, this type of ceramic will be perfect. Choosing porcelain stoneware in the hall, apart from its functional aspect, which is resistance to moisture and abrasion, we will obtain an elegant effect at the entrance. On the other hand, stoneware tiles can be used in a bathroom not only on the floor, but also on the wall, thus separating the shower area.

Benefits for many years

Porcelain stoneware tiles are a universal and timeless solution for both apartments and houses. Combining the classic and natural look of wood with the durability of ceramics, porcelain stoneware is an extremely functional, easy-care and, above all, durable solution. It is also a great solution if you choose underfloor heating, as wood-effect stoneware will distribute heat much better than floorboards.
